Aamir Khan Responds to Fan Request for Movies Like SRK’s ‘Pathaan,’ Urges Audience to Embrace ‘Laapata Ladies’

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently engaged with his fans in an Instagram live session, promoting his latest film ‘Laapata Ladies’ and responding to various queries. Amidst the interaction, a fan’s question about doing movies similar to Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster ‘Pathaan’ caught the spotlight, to which Aamir delivered a humble yet assertive response.

During the live session, a fan expressed, “Sir, you should do movies like Pathaan.” Aamir Khan’s response was both gracious and promotional, saying, “Yaar Shah Rukh bana rahe hai na Pathaan jaisi acchi. Main bana raha hoon Laapataa Ladies. Aap woh dekho.” (Translation: Shah Rukh Khan is making good films like Pathaan. I am making Laapataa Ladies. Please watch it.)

This response garnered appreciation from fans, with one user emphasizing Aamir’s respect for fellow artists. Another admirer noted that Aamir, aware of his age, wisely avoids action films, and questioned, “Is Aamir’s Laapataa Ladies any less than a Pathan?”

‘Laapata Ladies,’ produced under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, is a comedy-drama revolving around the theme of lost brides. The film has been receiving positive feedback for its content delivery and humor, despite a gradual climb at the box office.

On the work front, Aamir Khan’s next project, tentatively titled ‘Sitaare Zameen Par,’ is generating buzz. Rumors suggest that the film will focus on Down Syndrome, and there are speculations about the involvement of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ star Darsheel Safary in the movie. Darsheel Safary recently shared an intriguing post on Instagram, indicating a reunion with Aamir Khan after 16 years and hinting at a big reveal in four days.

The Bollywood community eagerly anticipates the upcoming project, as Aamir Khan continues to captivate audiences with his diverse roles and commitment to meaningful storytelling.
