International Schools Introduce Innovative Pedagogies in India to Offer Holistic and Global Education

The innovative teaching methods being introduced by these international schools focus on experiential and active learning. Wellington College, with its 170-year heritage, aims to share not only its infrastructure but also its pioneering approach to teaching well-being. The emphasis on experiential learning, holistic development, and active engagement resonates with the core principles of the NEP 2020.

One World International School, based in Singapore, is offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to its students in India. This approach aligns with the collaborative and experiential learning encouraged by the NEP 2020.

The international schools are not only introducing innovative teaching methods but also fostering international collaboration. Harrow School plans to offer interactive and engaging teaching methods that move beyond traditional lecture-based approaches. Similarly, OWIS has been training local teachers to understand the international curriculum and teaching process.
