IIT Madras to Conduct JAM 2024; Registration Process to Commence on September 5

The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M), has announced that it will be organizing the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) 2024. This prestigious examination serves as a gateway for students aspiring to pursue Masters’ programs at various IITs and other renowned institutions across the country.

The registration process for JAM 2024 is set to kick off on September 5, providing interested candidates ample time to apply until October 13. Prospective applicants can submit their applications through the official website of JAM, which is jam.iitm.ac.in. Importantly, there is no age restriction for candidates applying for JAM 2024. Furthermore, foreign nationals possessing Indian degrees are also eligible to apply, as long as they adhere to the policies of the admitting Institute.

The JAM 2024 examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 11, 2024. To be eligible for this examination, candidates must either hold an undergraduate degree or be in the final year of their undergraduate program.

The examination will be held as a Computer-Based Test and will encompass seven test papers, each covering specific subjects. These test papers include Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH). The examination venues will span over 100 cities across the country, providing candidates with convenient options to choose from.
