Participation in the GATE 2024 examination entails an initial fee of Rs 1800 for general category candidates, with a reduced fee of Rs 900 applicable to SC, ST, differently-abled, and female candidates. However, candidates registering after the standard deadline will need to allocate additional funds, with general category candidates facing a fee of Rs 2300, while reserved category candidates will pay Rs 1400.
