AICTE and Pune Vidyarthi Griha to Host One-Day Seminar on ‘NEP-2020’ to Foster Educational Reforms

Pune Vidyarthi Griha, in partnership with the All India Technical Education Council (AICTE), is set to host a one-day seminar on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The seminar is specifically aimed at institutional heads and will take place on Thursday, 22nd June 2023, at the Pune Vidyarthi Griha Auditorium, located in Muktangan English School, Parvati Darshan Pune.

The event will commence with an inauguration ceremony, which will be presided over by the State Higher and Technical Education Minister, Chandrakant Patil. Distinguished guests, including AICTE Chairman Prof. T. G. Sitaram, Dr. Suresh Gosavi (Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University), Vinod Mohitkar (Pro-Director of Technical Education, Maharashtra State), and Vice-Chancellors from various universities, will also be present.

Prominent figures in the field of education will deliver keynote addresses during the seminar. These include Dr. Nitin Karmalkar (Steering Committee Chairman), Dr. Shailendra Devlankar (State Director of Higher Education), Dr. Anil Rao, Dr. Anil Sahasrabudhe (Chairman of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, NAAC), and others. Sunil Redekar, Chairman of Pune Vidyarthi Griha, provided this information.

The seminar aims to provide a platform for institutional heads to discuss and gain insights into the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This policy, introduced by the Government of India, seeks to bring about significant changes and reforms in the education system across the country. By hosting this seminar, Pune Vidyarthi Griha and AICTE aim to foster a comprehensive understanding of the NEP and its implications among educational institutions.

Professor Rajendra Kaduskar, the Director, and Professor Dr. Manoj Tarambale, the Principal of Pune Vidyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering, will also play instrumental roles in organizing the seminar.

The seminar promises to be an engaging and informative event, bringing together key stakeholders in the education sector to discuss the NEP-2020.
