In a concerning development, an army Jawan, identified as Javaid Ahmad Wani, has been reported missing from Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir. The incident came to light on Saturday evening, raising alarm among officials and locals.
Javaid Ahmad Wani hails from Achathal area in Kulgam district and was on leave from his duty posted in the Ladakh region. However, he could not be located or reached on Saturday, leading his family to inform the local community about his disappearance.
The soldier’s car was subsequently discovered in Paranhall later the same evening, and troubling reports emerged suggesting that blood was found in the vehicle. These findings have only deepened the concern for his well-being.
Upon receiving the news of the missing Jawan, security forces promptly launched a large-scale search operation to locate and rescue him. The search efforts are currently underway, and authorities are diligently combing the area to track down any leads that may aid in locating Javaid Ahmad Wani.
