Terrorists had carried out bomb tests in jungles near Pune, Satara and Kolhapur, ATS report

PUNE: A report submitted by the ATS in the court states that the two terrorists arrested by the Kothrud police during a nakabandi had carried out tests of bombs in jungles near Pune, Satara and Kolhapur. In the FIR registered against them, sections under Unlawful Activities Prevention Act have been added.

Since the custody of both terrorists was ending, the ATS produced them in the district and sessions court. Sessions Judge SV Kachre extended their police custody till August.

The ATS team checked their house during their investigation and they found various items. Apart from electronic gadgets, they had found a white powder. An explosive vapour detector confirmed that it was an explosive and the dog squad has also given a positive report. The powder has been sent to the forensic laboratory and the report is awaited.

The terrorists were ready to die for sacred things according to Islam. They had been brainwashed. They had been trained to carry out terrorist acts apart from accepting the ideology of terrorists.
