DAUND: A shocking incident of two youths brandishing sickles on the main road has taken place in Daund. The Daund police have arrested two youths.
The Daund police have given information about this. On August 7, Rakesh Tilak Jagtap (28) and Sachin Suresh Nalawde (30), both residents of Daund, were creating terror by brandishing sickles on Ashtavinayak Marg (Nagar Mori to post office).
Since Rakesh Jagtap was standing in the middle of the road with a sickle, two-wheeler riders were scared. Rakesh Jagtap was threatening locals by brandishing a sickle in a crowded area. After some citizens informed the police, a team of police personnel was informed.
API Choudhary, havaldar Pandurang Thorat, Sachin Desai, constable Rahul Wagh and Akshay Ghodke apprehended Rakesh Jagtap and Sachin Nalawade. When they were searched, it was found that Jagtap had hidden a sickle in his shirt.
