Warje: A devastating accident in Warje has left the community in shock and mourning. Babasaheb Devram Udavant, a 55-year-old resident of Chakradhar Society in Manaji Nagar Narhe, lost his life in a tragic incident while crossing the highway. He was hit by a truck near Atul Nagar in Warje and succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
The incident occurred on Tuesday evening around 5:30 PM, when Mr. Udavant was crossing the highway from Warje to Atul Nagar. Unfortunately, a truck traveling from Mumbai towards Satara collided with him. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the impact was severe, causing him to fall a considerable distance and resulting in his immediate demise.
Local authorities, including officers and employees from the Warje Police and Warje Traffic Department, swiftly responded to the incident. They arrived at the scene promptly to clear the road and ensure the safety of other commuters.
Late into Tuesday night, the Warje Malwadi Police Station was actively involved in filing a case regarding this tragic accident. Investigations will be conducted to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and ascertain any further legal actions that may be necessary.
