Pune: One arrested & seven detained for stabbing two people with sharp weapon over past feud in Hadapsar

Pune: A group of 8 people including seven minors attacked two people over a past feud and attempted murder by stabbing one with a sharp weapon. The incident took place in Mhada Colony of Viadwadi in Hadapsar between 1:30 pm and 2 pm on Thursday, August 24. In this matter the Hadapsar police have arrested one and detained seven minors.

The accused has been arrested as Aditya Ram Khaire (19) a resident of Tamboli Dias Plot at Gultekdi in Pune. Seven minors have been detained. Milind Madhukar Kamble (23) a resident of Suraksha Nagar, Vaidwadi at Hadapsar in Pune has filed a complaint in Hadapsar police station. The police have registered an FIR against the accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 307, 323, 143, 144, 145, 149, 504 and Indian Weapons Act 4(25), Maharashtra Police Act 37 (1), and 135.

According to the police, the complainant Milind Kamble was chatting with his friends Vicky Hanumant Gaikwad and Shubham Dharmaraj Chabukswar at building number 2 in Mhada Colony on Thursday afternoon. Vicky Gaikwad had a fight with a minor boy. Angry over the fight, the minor boy came to Mhada Colony along with his other companions. The gang abused Vicky Gaikwad and the complainant and beat them up. Also the complainant was seriously injured as he was stabbed on the head with a sharp weapon in an attempt to kill. The others hit the complainant with an iron rod and injured him.

On the complaint filed by Milind Kamble, a case has been filed against the gang and one has been arrested while seven minors have been detained. Further investigation is being conducted by PSI Kaviraj Patil under the guidance of senior PI Ravindra Shelke.
