Pune: At Pune’s Mundhwa police station, a woman registered a formal complaint against the person identified as James Anthony for allegedly taking his clothes in front of the woman and making obscene gestures towards her. This incident took place on Monday, November 6, at Mundhwa’s Ghorpadi village in Vikasnagar.
According to the police, on November 6, when the victim was standing on her house’s balcony, Anthony came towards her house. Suddenly, he disrobed himself and started gesturing lewd or indecent behaviour by looking at her with the intention of causing her embarrassment.
After the victim lodged a complaint in this regard at the Mundhwa police station, the police immediately registered a case under IPC 354 A, 509, and 504 and started looking out for Anthony. The police sub-inspector, Binawade, is now further investigating the case.
