Pune: Kothrud police register FIR against teacher for harassing three-year-old girl

PUNE: An incident of a three-year-old girl studying in a nursery based in Kothrud being threatened by a school teacher has been reported. An FIR has been registered at the Kothrud police station against the 40-year-old teacher.

The complainant’s daughter studies in a reputed nursery in Bharti Nagar area in Kothrud. Initially, she used to go to school in an enthusiastic manner. However, since few days, she started avoiding going to school and started getting panicky when her parents talked about school. Her parents had a doubt that something may have happened at the school. The girl’s parents took her into confidence and spoke to her. They were shocked by what she told them.

The girl told her parents, “teacher pulls my hair and cheeks. She asks me whether she should cut my hands and issues a threat of burning my hand with a candle.” The girl’s parents approached the Kothrud police and informed them about the incident. The Kothrud police have registered an FIR against the teacher and taken action against the teacher.
