Pune: A young woman, who had created the ‘Thergaon Queen’ twitter handle, became the talk of the town a few years ago. The police had warned her for using obscene language on social media. Now, a young man in Hadapsar is challenging the police by glorifying crime on social media.
This has become a trend in the city to glorify criminals on social media. The so-called ‘Hadapsar King’ has made a reel, in which he says, ‘This is Hadapsar gaon. Criminals rule here’. The title of reel is ‘Badshah’ (king), who has thrown a challenge before the police.
Citizens expect that the police will act against such goons, who terrorise people by spreading such content on social media. Citizens have already faced the menace of ‘Koyta gangs’.
