Pune: In a shocking incident in Chandannagar in Pune a business woman was cheated by a conman of worth Rs 3 lakh. The conman sent rags instead of clothes by saying that they are a cloth delivery agent who delivers clothes from a big clothes factory at a low price.
Jasmin Atul Puri (35) a resident of Vadgaon in Sheri has filed a complaint in Chandannagar police station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the unknown mobile phone holder.
According to the police, “one conman contacted the complainant and said that he works as a cloth delivery agent. They have good connections with big garment factories. They took Rs 2.97 lakh as advance from business woman saying that they deliver clothes at a lower price than other clothes agents. They sent her parcel. and when she opened it she found rags instead of clothes. of clothes, they sent rags of clothes. Senior police inspector Ragendra Landage is investigating the case.”
