Pune: In Bhusari Colony, Kothrud, bullets fired from a gun found their mark in the windows of a building adjacent to the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) premises. Promptly responding to the distress call, law enforcement authorities swiftly arrived at the scene, where the Forensic Investigation Team commenced a meticulous examination to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Sambhaji Kadam, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone hree, informed that the police were alerted to gunfire in Bhusari Colony, prompting an immediate response from the Kothrud police team. Upon reaching the site, investigators discovered a bullet lodged in the glass of a residential window. Initial assessments suggest that the projectile may have originated from the firing range of DRDO. Kadam emphasised that a comprehensive investigation is currently underway to elucidate the sequence of events and determine any potential liabilities.
