Pune: The Wanwadi police succeeded in detaining a 17-year-old boy for allegedly molesting a minor girl and also threatening to kill her. The incident took place at Kalepadal in Hadapsar area. The boy has been threatening and also molesting the minor for the past two years.
In this matter, the mother of the minor girl has filed a complaint in Wanwadi police station. The police have registered an FIR against the minor under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 354(a), 354(d), 504, 506 and POCSO Act.
According to the police, the 15-year-year-old daughter of the complainant was threatened by the minor that he would kill her. The accused also harassed the minor girl by repeatedly calling and texting her and when she did not respond he chased and molested her. The parents of the victim girl when asked the minor boy about harassing their daughter, he threatened to kill them too. As soon as the complainant filed a complaint. The police immediately registered a case and arrested the accused. Wanwadi police are further investigating the case.”
