Prime Accused in Kishore Aware Murder Case Apprehended by Pune Police

In a significant breakthrough, the Crime Branch of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police in Pune has arrested one of the prime accused in the murder case of Kishore Aware, former municipal councilor and founder president of the Janvikas Samiti. The apprehended individual, identified as Chandrabhan Vishwanath Khaldhe, had evaded capture for the past two months. The arrest brings a major development in the ongoing investigation into the case.

Details of the Murder Case

The murder of Kishore Aware took place on May 12 in Talegaon Dabhade, where the accused Shyam Arun Nigdikar, also known as Pravin alias Raghunath Sambhaji Dhotre, Adesh Vitthal Dhotre, and Sandeep alias Nanya Vitthal More, opened fire on Aware. Unfortunately, Aware succumbed to multiple bullet injuries sustained in the incident. The Talegaon Dabhade Police Station registered a case in connection with the murder.

Arrest of Chandrabhan Khaldhe

Chandrabhan Khaldhe, believed to be the mastermind behind the murder, was successfully apprehended by the police in Nashik. The accused had managed to evade capture by frequently changing his location and ceasing the use of his mobile phone. The police teams faced considerable challenges in tracing him during the two-month-long manhunt.

According to the police, Khaldhe initially stayed in Yavat, Pune, before moving to Hyderabad. Eventually, he settled in the Sindhi Colony in Nashik. The police’s persistent efforts and extensive investigation led to his arrest, marking a significant milestone in the case.
