In a shocking incident in Pashan, Pune, a man’s anger over his wife’s refusal to serve chicken turned into a violent assault on his own daughter. The victim, a young girl, sustained severe injuries after being struck on the head with a brick. The family promptly filed a complaint at the Chatushrungi police station, resulting in the registration of an FIR against the accused.
The accused, identified as Vikas Nagnath Rathod, resides on Wakeshwar Road. The disturbing altercation unfolded amidst an ongoing heated argument between Vikas and his wife. On Monday, upon returning home, Vikas insisted on having a chicken meal. However, due to the unavailability of chicken, a regular meal was served, triggering a conflict that escalated into a brutal attack on his daughter.
The family, appalled by the violent incident, took legal action by filing a complaint, leading to the initiation of an FIR against Vikas. The Chatushrungi police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the matter, and the accused remains at large.
