Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken detainment action against 21 criminals so far
PUNE: Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr has taken action of detainment against notorious criminal Lakhan Munna Bire (26), a resident of Warje octroi naka, for committing crimes in Warje police station limits, under the MPDA Act. Bire has been sent to Kolhapur’s Kalamba Central Jail for a year.
Lakhan Munna Bire is a criminal on police records. He has committed serious crimes like robbery, causing serious injury and possessing sharp weapons in the limits of Warje police station. In the last five years, five FIRs are registered against him. His criminal actions had created obstruction in maintenance of law and order. Locals were scared to complain against him.
CP Retesh Kumaarr has taken action against Lakhan Bire under the MPDA Act. After assuming charge, the CP has taken detainment action against 21 notorious criminals so far under the MPDA Act. In future also, similar action will be taken against notorious criminals.
