Solar Rays of Hope: PUNE COPS Brightens Sathe Sai Village with Heater Panels

In a significant stride towards improving living conditions in rural areas, the Council of Presidents of Pune (PUNE COPS) under the International Inner Wheel has inaugurated solar heater panels for Sathe Sai village. Led by Mrs. Smita Pingale, the Founder of PUNE COPS, and supported by esteemed members, the initiative addresses the pressing needs of the village and emphasizes the commitment to uplift rural communities.

PUNE COPS has generously donated four solar water heater panels to Sathe Sai village, with a total cost amounting to Rs 3,00,000. The inauguration ceremony saw the expression of gratitude from Sarpanch Hanumant Sathe, highlighting the importance of such projects in rural development.

Mrs. Pingale reaffirmed PUNE COPS’ dedication to transforming Sathe Sai into a contented village by addressing its fundamental amenities. Key challenges, including the absence of nearby schools leading to long walks for children and the lack of proper heating systems, were acknowledged and addressed through the installation of solar panels.

In addition to the solar panels, PUNE COPS has committed to providing bicycles to the children, easing their journey to school. This holistic initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for villagers in Sathe Sai and beyond.
