In commemoration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, SpiceJet, the budget carrier, has launched a special ticket sale, offering airfares starting at Rs 1622 (all-in) for non-stop domestic and international flights. The airline announced the sale on social media, stating, “SpiceJet presents a special sale with airfares starting from Rs. 1622, with up to 30% off on add-ons, in honour of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. Fly with blessings!”

- Booking Period: January 22 – 28, 2024
- Travel Period: January 22 – September 30, 2024
- Available on select domestic and international direct one-way flights.
- Limited seats on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Applicable on saver fare only, not on special fares or group bookings.
- Refundable bookings with applicable cancellation charges.
- Cannot be combined with other offers.
- Blackout dates are applicable.
- Available across SpiceJet’s network, including website, m-site, mobile app, reservations, and select travel agents.
Expansion Plans:
In conjunction with the special sale, SpiceJet is gearing up to launch new flights connecting major cities in India to Ayodhya, starting from February 1, 2024. The strategic expansion includes direct flights from the national capital, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Patna, and Darbhanga. Previous announcements have also mentioned non-stop flights to Ayodhya from Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
