Ayodhya: The iconic trio from Ramand Sagar’s timeless epic ‘Ramayan,’ namely Arun Govil, Sunil Lahiri, and Deepika Chikhalia, have arrived in Ayodhya to participate in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The actors, known for their portrayals of Lord Ram, Laxman, and Goddess Sita, respectively, are in Ayodhya to film an album titled ‘Hamare Ram Aayenge.’
During an event in Ayodhya, Arun Govil, who played the role of Lord Ram, shared his sentiments about the Pran Pratistha Mahotsava, emphasizing that the Ram temple in Ayodhya will serve as the ‘Rashtra Mandir’ (National Temple). According to Govil, this event is the most significant in his life, and he expressed surprise at the grandeur of Lord Ram’s consecration. He highlighted the emotional and energetic atmosphere surrounding Lord Ram, generating happiness nationwide.
Speaking about the cultural revival, Govil noted that the consecration will convey a message that uplifts culture, countering its fading trend worldwide in recent years. Sunil Lahiri, who portrayed Laxman, expressed gratitude for being part of the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, stating that the positive and religious atmosphere created will spread joy globally.
Govil added that the Ramayana teaches people to live with dignity, a lesson unknown to those who deny Lord Ram, emphasizing Ram as Maryada Purushottam. Deepika Chikhalia, who played Goddess Sita, highlighted that people still remember the portrayal of Lord Ram, Laxman, and Sita in the serial. The actors expressed their gratitude to the show’s makers and conveyed excitement about witnessing the grand celebration and Ram Mandir Inauguration ceremony.
