Zomato’s Zomaland Food Carnival Set to Enchant 8 Indian Cities in the Fourth Edition

Zomato’s much-awaited food and live entertainment festival, Zomaland, is gearing up for its fourth edition, commencing on November 4 in Pune. This vibrant carnival, hosted by Zomato Live Entertainment, promises to be a sensational celebration of food, music, culture, and live performances. What’s more, this year’s Zomaland is expanding its reach, covering eight dynamic cities: Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Kolkata.

Zomaland has become a must-attend event for food enthusiasts and entertainment lovers alike. It showcases a dynamic blend of culinary delights, artist performances from across the nation, and a variety of immersive experiences. While the lineup for the Pune event is yet to be revealed, tickets are already available on Zomato’s food delivery app and Paytm Insider.

This year, the ticket prices for Zomaland start at INR 599, reflecting the festival’s growing popularity compared to last year when it started at INR 499.

Reflecting on the past editions of Zomaland, Zeenah Vilcassim, CEO of Zomato Live, expressed excitement, saying, “The previous seasons of Zomaland charmingly captured the heart of each city, and this year, we are gearing up to take it to new heights. It is a true celebration of food, music, and culture, and we can’t wait to entertain and delight our audiences as always.”

Zomato Live anticipates that this season of the carnival will feature over 60 establishments in the food industry, promising a delectable and diverse culinary experience.

In the previous season, Zomaland saw remarkable success, with over 175,000 attendees and the enthusiastic participation of more than 400 restaurants across seven cities.

Live events have emerged as a pivotal business opportunity for Zomato in recent years. In its first-quarter financial results for FY24, Zomato considered the possibility of spinning off the ‘Going Out’ category, which would include Zomato’s dining-out and live events businesses, into a separate app.

Notably, Zomato recently reported its first profitable quarter, with a profit after tax of INR 2 crore in Q1 FY24. This financial success has driven the company’s stock price, with its shares trading over 75% higher year-to-date and reaching a 52-week high in recent trading sessions.

As Zomaland readies to dazzle eight cities, Zomato’s expansion into live events continues to be a testament to its commitment to providing diverse and exciting experiences for its users.
