The MSLTA IKON Reality Trophy All India Ranking Championship Series U16 Tennis Tournament witnesses promising performances as Aaradhya Mhasde, Shardul Khawle, Shreya Pathare, and Rishita Patil set the stage for potential double victories, reaching the finals in both the girls’ singles and doubles events. The tournament is organized by Om Dalvi Memorial Trust in association with Shaping Champions Foundation Pune and is being played at Maharashtra Police Tennis Gymkhana (MT), Parihar Chowk, Aundh, Pune.
In the boys’ semifinal round, top-seeded Aaradhya Mhasde showcased skillful play, defeating Arjun Velluri with a score of 6-1, 6-4. On the other side, unseeded Shardul Khawle pulled off an upset, beating second-seeded Saksham Bhansali with a scoreline of 4-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Shardul Khawle, partnering with Varad Pol, continued his impressive run in the doubles event, defeating Shaunak Suvarna and Varad Undre with a score of 6-3, 7-6(2) to secure a spot in the final.
In the girls’ category, fourth-seeded Rishita Patil Kondkar triumphed over second-seeded Advita Gupta with a commanding score of 6-4, 6-0. She will face top-seeded Shreya Pathare in the finals, who secured her spot by overcoming second-seeded Kavya Deshmukh with a scoreline of 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.
