EuroSchool Undri proudly announces the selection of Kriya Kayshik, a Grade 6 student, to the prestigious U14 Maharashtra Basketball Team. Kriya’s outstanding talent and dedication have earned her a well-deserved spot in this esteemed lineup, reflecting the school’s commitment to holistic development and excellence beyond academics.
Kriya showcased her skills at the CISCE National level Basketball Competition in Chennai from October 30th to November 2nd, 2023, representing Maharashtra. Her impressive performance contributed to the victory of the girls U14 team against Tamil Nadu earlier this month.
Seema Bahukhandi, Principal of EuroSchool Undri, congratulated Kriya, stating, “Kriya’s achievement is a source of immense pride for us. At EuroSchool, we believe in empowering students to find their extraordinary – be it academics, sports, or performing arts. Her selection stands as a shining example of EuroSchool Undri’s commitment to nurturing talent beyond academics.”
EuroSchool Undri’s ASPIRE Program, a curation of globally recognized programs in sports, performing arts, and STEM, played a pivotal role in Kriya’s development. The program, run in collaboration with renowned partners such as Barca Academy, TORRINS, Helen O’ Grady, NBA Basketball Academy, Drone Wars, Sportz Village, etc., offers students a diverse range of activities, including yoga, robotics, dance and drama, music, sports, coding, and specialized programs in performing arts and languages.
Kriya’s journey serves as an inspiration to her peers and a motivation for aspiring athletes within and beyond EuroSchool Undri. The school’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering well-rounded individuals is evident in Kriya’s remarkable achievement at such a young age.
