Yashvantraje Pawar from Solapur and Vaidehi Shukla of Madhya Pradesh have positioned themselves for a potential double victory by advancing to the singles and doubles finals in the boys and girls categories at the MSLTA Intensity Tennis Academy All India Ranking Championship Series U12 Tennis Tournament. The tournament is being organized by Intensity Tennis Academy in collaboration with Shaping Champions Foundation Pune and is currently taking place at Intensity Tennis Academy Courts, Kapila Resorts, Kharadi.
In the boys singles final, third-seeded Yashvantraje Pawar is set to face top-seeded Aarav Bele. Pawar has also secured a spot in the doubles final with partner Kabir Gundecha.
In the boys semifinals, Aarav Bele overcame the challenge from seventh-seeded Laqshya Tripathi with a 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 victory. Meanwhile, third-seeded Yashvantraje Pawar sealed his place in the final with a 6-2, 6-3 win over qualifier Luv Pardeshi.
On the girls’ side, top-seeded Vaidehi Shukla secured a 7-5, 6-4 win over Manasvi Rathod in the semifinals. She will face fifth-seeded Janhavi Sawant, who caused an upset by defeating second-seeded Nakshatra Iyer 6-3, 7-5. Shukla is also in the doubles final, partnering with Nakshatra Iyer.
