Vishrantwadi Tragedy: Collision Takes Lives of Two Young Sisters

In a deeply distressing incident that unfolded in Vishrantwadi, a catastrophic collision with a tanker claimed the lives of two sisters who were riding a motorcycle. This heart-wrenching accident occurred on the public road near the Buddhist Vihar at Vishrantwadi Chowk, at approximately 4:15 PM last Monday.

A Community in Mourning:

The entire community in the area has been left in shock and sorrow by this devastating accident. The two young sisters, identified as Shraddha Satishkumar Jha (4 years old) and Sakshi Satishkumar Jha (4 years old), tragically lost their lives. Their mother, Kiran Satishkumar Jha (40 years old), suffered severe injuries during the collision.

Legal Actions Initiated:

In response to this heart-rending incident, a formal complaint was lodged by Satishkumar Harinarayan Jha (40 years old, residing in Sant Tukaram Nagar, Matoshree Park, Bhosari). Following the complaint, the Vishrantwadi police have initiated legal proceedings against the truck driver, Pramodkumar Ramlal Yadav (27 years old, hailing from Gauramafi in Pratapgarh district, Uttar Pradesh).

Pramodkumar Yadav, who was operating the truck at high speed when the collision occurred, is accused of forcefully striking the motorcycle driven by Satishkumar Jha. This resulted in a catastrophic impact, tragically leaving the two sisters fatally injured. Despite the best efforts, they succumbed to their injuries.

The immediate response of senior police officers to the scene highlights the severity of this tragic incident. They have begun investigations to gather more information and assess the situation.
