Rutuja Jangam’s much-awaited Arangetram will take place on Saturday, 22nd July 2023, at 5:00 PM. The prestigious Natsamrat Nilu Phule Natyagruha in Sangvi, Pune, has been chosen as the venue for this grand occasion. The performance is open to all, with free entry, providing a wonderful opportunity for the audience to witness Rutuja’s artistic brilliance.
Smt. Charanya Gurusathya, a renowned Bharatanatyam artist, teacher, and choreographer, has been sharing her expertise at Natyashala Academy since its establishment in 2009. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has performed in numerous dance festivals and conducted workshops in countries such as the USA, France, India, Italy, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Her contributions to the art form have earned her several prestigious awards, including the honor of serving as an Indian Jury member at the World Dance Contest in Italy in 2023.
Under the guidance of her guru, Charanya Gurusathya, Rutuja Jangam has completed her Diploma in Bharatanatyam and has participated in various solo and group performances. Her Arangetram will showcase a captivating Margam, taking the audience on a spiritual journey through prayers to Ashtadikpalakas, the Tandavam of Shiva, and the portrayal of Shringara Rasa towards Murugan and Krishna. Rutuja’s dedication and passion for dance have not only honed her skills but have also instilled discipline, mental strength, and a profound appreciation for Indian heritage and mythological literature.
