Two-hour block on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

PUNE: A block will again be taken on the Pune-Mumbai Expressway from 12 noon to 2 pm. The traffic going towards Pune will be stopped. The block will be taken because overhead gantry is to be installed as a part of ITMS. The gantry is to be installed near Somatane Phata.
Such blocks are being taken since last few days. Blocks will also be taken for next few months. During the blocks, the traffic will be diverted via alternate routes. MSRDC and the highway police have issued an appeal that passengers should cooperate.

Mumbai-Pune Expressway is an important national highway and lakhs of citizens travel by it every day. An appeal has been issued to passengers to avoid travel during this period.

Vehicles travelling from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted from 54.400 km via NH 4 i.e. old Mumbai-Pune highway
