Pune, August 12th, 2023: A heart-wrenching accident on Dighi Alandi Road in Pimpri Chinchwad claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy and left his mother seriously injured on Thursday night. The young victim has been identified as Parth Pranav Bhosale, and the accused driver is identified as Rahul Tapkir.
According to reports, the incident unfolded as Parth and his mother were riding on a scooter from Charholi Chowk towards Dighi. Tragically, a car collided with them from behind with significant force, inflicting severe injuries upon Parth’s mother. The impact caused Parth to be thrown off the scooter, and he was tragically dragged by the car for a distance spanning 700 to 800 meters. Trapped under the car, Parth succumbed to his injuries.
Incensed by the incident, local residents swiftly intervened, apprehended the reportedly intoxicated Rahul Tapkir, and handed him over to the Dighi police.
