Three Residents of Belgaum Lose Lives in Tragic Pune-Bengaluru Highway Accident

A tragic accident on the Pune-Bengaluru highway near Khandala has left three individuals dead. The incident occurred between two tempo vehicles close to Dhangarwadi village along the highway. While the accident resulted in significant traffic congestion initially, traffic police promptly arrived at the scene and successfully normalized vehicular movement.

The victims have been identified as Manjunath Yellappa Kavali, Anand Gurusiddh Gangai, and Naikappa Satyappa Naykar, all residents of Belgaum. The accident unfolded when a truck, which had broken down due to mechanical issues, was struck from behind by another truck after its driver lost control of the vehicle.

Officials reported that the truck involved in the accident was en route from Mumbai to Bengaluru at the time of the collision. Local law enforcement swiftly responded to the scene and efficiently cleared the road, enabling the resumption of normal traffic flow.
