In a disturbing incident, a website dedicated to sharing factual information about Hinduism, operated by a Pune resident, received a menacing comment issuing threats of a bomb blast in India and the assassination of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Pune police have initiated an investigation into the matter after registering a case at the Alankar police station.
The comment, posted by an individual named M A Mokheem on August 6, contained alarming threats targeting India’s security and the country’s leader. The website’s owner, Rahul Dudhane, came across the comment while reviewing his platform. The comment stated, “I will plan serious bomb blast in India. I will be funding terrorist organizations… I will destroy the Hindu religion. I will kill Narendra Modi also.”
Upon discovering the comment, Dudhane promptly contacted the police control room to report the threat. Pune Deputy Commissioner of Police Suhail Sharma (Zone III) confirmed the case registration and ongoing investigation. He revealed that the IP address from which the comment originated appears to be from outside India, prompting the authorities to delve deeper into the matter.
