Temporary Closure of Kanhe Level Crossing Gate Impacts Travel Between Kamshet and Talegaon

Kanhe level crossing gate between Kamshet and Talegaon to remain closed for two days

Maintenance Work Prompts Pune Division to Divert Traffic for Two Days

Kamshet, India – In light of scheduled maintenance work for overhauling, the Pune division has announced the temporary closure of Level Crossing Gate No. 45, situated between Kamshet and Talegaon. Commencing from 8:00 a.m. on April 6, 2024 (Saturday), the gate will remain closed for two days until 6:00 p.m. on April 7, 2024 (Sunday), under the jurisdiction of ADEN (South) Lonavala.

The closure of Kanhe Gate, located at Kms. 148/5-6, necessitates the diversion of road traffic to Level Crossing Gate No. 47 (Jambhul Gate) at Kms. 151/4-5. This temporary arrangement aims to ensure minimal disruption to commuters while facilitating the necessary maintenance work.

Passengers are urged to take note of this temporary closure and make use of the alternative route provided via Jambhul Gate during the specified period.
