Pune: A teacher was killed while another teacher and some students were injured in an accident involving a bus and a tempo in the wee hours of Thursday on Malshiras-Akluj road near Vatpali Patil Vasti in Malshiras taluka of Solapur district.
The students of the Shri Shivaji Vidyalaya, Bavda, Indapur taluka, accompanied by the teachers, were returning from a school trip when the MSRTC bus (MH14BT4701) collided with the tempo. The trip started on Tuesday (December 19).
The deceased has been identified as Balkrushna Haribhau Kale (53). The injured teacher is Ramakant Shivdas Shirsat. The inured have been admitted to the Sub District Hospital, Akluj.
