St Vincents A Dominates in Basketball League Triumph at St Vincent’s Junior Leagues Tournament

Pune, Maharashtra – In an exciting culmination of skill and sportsmanship, St Vincents A claimed the title with an impressive 21 points in the Basketball league match held at the St Vincent’s Junior Leagues Tournament. The tournament, organized by St Vincent’s High School and Junior College, took place on their home ground on February 3, 2024.

In the crucial league encounters leading to the finals, St Vincent’s A exhibited their prowess with a commanding 19-5 victory over JN Petit. Simultaneously, St Vincents B showcased their strength by defeating Fr Agnel with a convincing score of 15-7.

The final match was a display of exceptional talent and teamwork, with St Vincents A securing their victory with 19 points against JN Petit 5. St Vincents A team’s (Nishad Jadhav, Varad Desai, Dareen Dsouza, Shlok Zankar )& St Vincents B team’s
(Sai Shinde, Vihaan Balal, Piyush Mankari )contributed significantly to their team’s success respectively.

Nishad Jadhav has been selected as the best player.

The awards ceremony was a moment of honor as Mr. Manoj Bhore, Senior Vice President of Hockey Maharashtra, Fr. Francis Patekar (Principal of St Vincents School), Dr. Wilson Andrews, Fr. Francis Dsouza (Manager of St Vincents School), and Fr. Raja (Vice Principal of St Vincents School) presented trophies and medals to the deserving winners and runners-up.
