Pune, 27th June 2023: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has announced the postponement of all exams originally scheduled for June 29. The decision was made in consideration of two significant festivals falling on the same day. Bakri Eid and Ashadhi Ekadashi are both set to be celebrated on June 29.
In an official notification, the university informed students that the exams originally planned for June 29 will now be rescheduled to July 9, with no changes to the timing. The decision to reschedule the exams was prompted by requests from several colleges affiliated with SPPU.
The summer 2023 exams have already commenced at all the affiliated colleges from June 6, and the timetable for the exams had already been published prior to this announcement. However, in response to the colleges’ requests and in acknowledgment of the festivals, SPPU has decided to accommodate the rescheduling of exams on June 29.
