PUNE: The educational time table of various departments of SPPU has been recently announced. The first session of 2023-24 is going to begin from August 21. The administration and the students were eagerly awaiting the timetable.
During the coronavirus pandemic, an option of online education had been available to prevent inconvenience to students. Later, online exams were held. The state government has issued instructions that steps will be taken to ensure that the academic activities in colleges and education institutes will be normalised. But SPPU was lagging behind and finally, in the first week of August, the university has announced the timetable.
According to the time table, the first session of SPPU will be held August 21 to December 16 and the second session from January 1 to May 18, states the circular issued by the education department of SPPU.
The common entrance test for various graduate and post graduate courses of science and technology, humanity, commerce and management and inter disciplinary streams has been held earlier. After this test, the admission process is being implemented. Accordingly, the university had announced the academic schedule. The varsity has also announced the timetable of winter and summer breaks.
Academic Year (2023-24)
First session: August 21 to December 16
Second session: January 1 to May 18, 2024
Winter holidays: December 18 to 30
Summer holidays: May 19 to June 30, 2024
