Shivsrushti Thrives: Gujarat’s Contribution Marks a Milestone in Cultural Collaboration

In a noteworthy gesture of inter-state collaboration, the State Government of Gujarat has made a generous donation of Rs 5 Crore to Shivsrushti, a mega historical theme park situated in Narhe-Ambegaon, Pune. This cultural endeavor, conceptualized around Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj by the late Padma Vibhushan Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare and developed by the Maharaja Shivchhatrapati Pratishthan, is set to benefit from this substantial financial support.

The cheque handover took place at the Chief Minister’s residence in Gujarat, where Vineet Kuber, Trustee of the Maharaja Shivchhatrapati Pratishthan, received the donation from Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Dignitaries including Gujarat’s Minister of Forest and Environment Mulu Bera, Minister of Gujarat Tourism Sourabh Pardhi, and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s senior volunteer Sandeep Jadhav were present to witness this momentous occasion.

Vineet Kuber expressed gratitude, stating, “Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel’s commitment to supporting Shivsrushti was evident today when he handed over a cheque of Rs 5 Crore. This donation will play a crucial role in advancing the second phase of Shivsrushti, encompassing the development of the Goddess Bhavani Temple in Pratapgad, Rangmandal, Gangasagar, and more. Additionally, it will contribute to the creation of a hall providing detailed insights into the progress of the concept of ‘Swarajya’ over the last 350 years, highlighting the restoration of temples and the endeavors of subsequent generations.”

Kuber also extended an invitation to Chief Minister Patel to visit Shivsrushti, emphasizing the shared cultural heritage and historical significance embedded in the project.
