Pune, 6th November 2023: Tensions ran high as Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde faction staged a protest today, raising serious concerns about the alleged mismanagement at Ruby Hall Hospital. The demonstration also drew attention to accusations of sexual harassment involving a hospital administration officer, believed to be connected to the tragic suicide of a female employee.
Led by Ajay Bhosale and Nana Bhangire of Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde faction, the protest demanded a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the female staff member’s death at Ruby Hall Hospital. In a swift response to the protest, the hospital administration took immediate action against the HR head, placing him on forced leave pending the completion of a police inquiry.
Ali Daruwala, Advisor at Ruby Hall Clinic, provided an official statement, saying, “Today, Ruby Hall Clinic witnessed a protest led by Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde faction, led by Ajay Bhosale and Nana Bhangire. The protesters called for an inquiry into the tragic death of a female staff member at Ruby Hall. The hospital administration acted promptly by placing the HR head on forced leave, effective immediately, pending the conclusion of a police inquiry. The protest was disbanded by the police department after their demands were met.”
