PUNE: The awardees of Shiv Chhatrapati Rajya Krida Puraskar of the state government include two players of Punit Balan Group. For 2019-20 in Athletics Sports category, the award will be given to Ankita Gosavi and for 2021-22, lawn tennis player Arjun Kadhe will be given the award.
The Punit Balan Group of young entrepreneur Punit Balan extends all possible help to sportspersons. The group has signed agreements with many players and under it, financial help, sports training, travel facilities for taking part in various national and international events, health facilities and diet guidance is given. Lawn tennis player Arjun Kadhe and athlete Ankita Gosavi are sportspersons of Punit Balan Group. The group provides all possible help to them. The state government recently announced the list of awardees of Shiv Chhatrapati Rajya Krida Puraskar for three consecutive years and awards have been announced for these two players.
Arjun Kadhe said, “I have qualified for the award thanks to the support of Punit Balan. Because of his support, I feel that someone is guiding me. Hence, I was able to completely concentrate on my performance. I am grateful to him. I am going to take part in the Grand Slam event next year because of his support.
”
Ankita Gosavi said, “Since I belong to a middle class family, it is difficult to take care of expenses related to participation in events, equipment and diet. However, all this has become possible thanks to the help of Punit Balan Group. I got strong support because of the group and I cannot express my gratitude in words.”
