Rotary Club of Pune Professionals and Future Mitra Mandal Host Grand Navratri Celebration

A cultural extravaganza, brimming with community spirit, unfolded in Pune as the Rotary Club of Pune Professionals, in collaboration with Future Mitra Mandal and ISKCON, organized a lively Garba Raas and Bhajan Sandhya at Amanora Future Plaza.

This spectacular event kicked off on the first day of Navratri, October 15th, and continued with fervor from October 18th to the 20th, aligning with the peace-building endeavors championed by the Rotary Club of Pune Professionals.

Open to all, the event witnessed a tremendous turnout, attracting over 2000 attendees, including Rotary members, Amanora citizens, and friends and family, all free of charge. The atmosphere was infused with the essence of traditional dance, music, and Garba melodies, complemented by an array of affordable food stalls.

Generously sponsored by Govinda Jewellers and Future Mitra Mandal, the event resonated with the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” with a mission to nurture peace and unity within the community.

Distinguished dignitaries graced the occasion, including Rotary District representatives and ISKCON devotees from the USA. Future Mitra Mandal’s President, Advocate Parmeshwar Waghmare, and their committee members left no stone unturned in ensuring that every detail was meticulously attended to. The Rotary Club of Pune Professionals, led by Charter President Rtn Sonal Somani, Director Rtn Pramod Dokania, and Director Rtn Abhishek Rathi, worked tirelessly to enhance the vibrancy of the event.

The resounding success of this event has left both citizens and Rotary members eagerly anticipating future community-building and culturally enriching initiatives, fostering motivation and encouragement among all participants. Happy Navaratri!
