Pune: The Ravet Women’s Club, under the visionary leadership of its founder chairman, Mrs. India Nirupama Mohanty, demonstrated unwavering dedication to empowering women in the local business community by hosting a remarkable Appreciation Program as part of their “Empower Her” initiative.
The event, held on the 29th of October 2023 in the vibrant Ravet area, gathered influential dignitaries and notable figures from various fields, all with the shared purpose of celebrating and inspiring the accomplishments of local women entrepreneurs.
The event’s Chief Guest was Moreshwar Bhau Bhnode, a highly regarded personality in the PCMC region. PSI Ravindra Panhale from Ravet Police Station delivered an informative presentation on women’s security, highlighting the proactive measures undertaken by the Maharashtra police to ensure the safety of women in the region. He emphasized the significance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement and the community in achieving this crucial objective.
Soumya, Founder Chairperson of Spread Happiness, captivated the audience with an inspiring message about assisting socio-economically disadvantaged individuals in society, focusing on their health and educational empowerment. His message deeply resonated with the attendees, underscoring the club’s commitment to social betterment.
A noteworthy highlight of the event was the presentation of the prestigious Ganapati Pandal Delight Award by the Ravet Women’s Club to the citizens and housing societies of Ravet. This honor, bestowed by the distinguished guests, symbolized appreciation for their exceptional contributions to the community and their dedication to fostering unity and cultural harmony. The Ganapati Pandal Delight Award was presented to GK Arise Housing Society in the Housing Society category and Komal Agarwal in the individual category. The 1st runner-up award went to Celestial City phase-1 & Varsha Satav Kate, and the 2nd runner-up award was granted to Palm Rose Ganesh Mandal & Shubhangi Jamkhandi.
