Pune, November 2, 2023: The stage is set for an epic cricket showdown as PYC Gymkhana prepares to lock horns with DVCA in the finals of the “Doshi Engineers Trophy” Inter Club Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament. Organized by the Path-Way Foundation, this exciting tournament has witnessed thrilling encounters at the Poona Club Ground and Deccan Gymkhana Ground.
In the riveting semifinals, PYC Gymkhana delivered a resounding victory by defeating Aryan Cricket Club with a margin of 97 runs. Captain Rohan Damle exhibited an outstanding all-around performance, scoring 83 runs and taking 3 crucial wickets.
On the other side of the bracket, DVCA secured their place in the finals with a 7-wicket win over Poona Club. Pavan Shah played a stellar role by remaining unbeaten with a remarkable 92 runs, ensuring DVCA’s spot in the championship match.
