In the Run for De-Addiction and Run For Women’s Safety, police personnel will run along with citizens

PUNE: The Pune police have organised a marathon to create awareness about drug de-addiction and women’s safety. The marathon has been organised with the help of Punit Balan Group and the Panchsheel Group.

Pune Police Commissioner Ritesh Kumar had issued instructions about organising the marathon. Accordingly, under the guidance of Addl CP, the Pune Police have organised a marathon for police personnel and citizens in partnership with Blue Brigade Running Club, Pune on August 6, 2023.

The 10 km marathon will begin at 5.30 am from Westin Hotel, ABC Road, Koregaon Park and will end at Westin Hotel at Hadapsar Magarpatta City. Pre-registration is necessary for taking part in the event. Those interested in participating in the event should click on https://www.townscript.com/e/pune-police-run-10k-243042 and register their names. Registration is free and participants will be given a free T-shirt, medal and breakfast.

In the Run for De-addiction and Run For Women’s Safety, 700 participants including police personnel and citizens can participate. Hence, those who want to participate in the event should register their names as early as possible. The Pune Police have appealed that fit Puneites should take part in the event.
