In a bid to enhance traffic safety and ensure smoother roadways in the vicinity of Ishanya Mall and Hermes Society, Yerwada Traffic Division has introduced temporary parking regulations in Pune city.
Yerwada Traffic Division has outlined the following key changes:
- Badami Chowk to Sudama Bhel Center: No parking permitted on both sides of the road.
- Hermes Heritage Phase 2 & 3 Society In Gate to Shastrinagar Chowk: No parking allowed on both sides of the road.
- North side of Sudama Bhel to Ishanya Mall Chowk: No parking is permitted.
- South side of Ishanya Mall Gate to Shantirakshak Chowk: Parking is allowed.
- Ishanya Mall Gate to Shantirakshak Chowk: P1 and P2 parking facilities are available.
- Karne Hospital to Hermes Heritage Phase 2 and 3 Society in Gate: No parking is allowed on the left side, with designated areas for two-wheelers (50 meters on the right side) and parallel parking for four-wheelers (50 meters).
The Yerwada Traffic Division invites citizens to provide suggestions or raise objections regarding these temporary traffic modifications. Written feedback can be submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, Near Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Pune, by November 7.
DCP Vijay Kumar Magar has assured that final orders, which will take into account citizen input and consider essential service vehicles, will be issued to formalize these traffic adjustments.
