Pune’s Poona Merchants Chamber Hosts Affordable Laddu-Chivda Sale Starting November 4

Pune, 2nd October 2023: The Poona Merchants Chamber, located at Market Yard, is upholding its tradition of providing affordable laddu-chivda at reasonable prices this year. The sale, set to kick off on November 4, will be inaugurated by MLA Madhuri Misal. Due to the increased cost of raw materials, the price of laddu-chivda has risen by Rs 10 per kilogram compared to last year, with customers being able to purchase it at Rs 160 per kilogram or Rs 85 for half a kilogram.

The event, scheduled at Jai Jinendra Pratishthan, Najushree Auditorium (near Gangadham) at 4:30 pm, will see the presence of notable individuals such as Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, Marketing Director Kedar Jadhav, and Chairman of Pune Agricultural Produce Market Committee Dilip Kalbhor.

The details were shared by the President of the Chamber, Rajendra Bathia, in the presence of other key members, including Vice President Ajit Bora, Secretary Raikumar Nahar, Joint Secretary Eshwar Nahar, Former President and Present Director Praveen Chorbele, Director Dinesh Mehta, Navin Goyal, Ashish Dugad, and Uttam Bathia.

State-of-the-art machinery will be employed to prepare the laddu-chivda, and food technicians have been hired to uphold product quality. Moreover, workers will undergo medical examinations to ensure the quality and safety of the products.

For the convenience of customers, affordable laddu-chivda will be available at various locations throughout Pune, including Vyapar Bhawan, Market Yard, Grahak Peth on Tilak Road, Azad Mitra Mandal at Pushpa Mangal Office in Bibvewadi, and more.
