Pune’s PMPML Set to Transform Services with ‘Pravasi Din’ on December 22

The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) is all set to host ‘Pravasi Din’ on Friday, December 22, as part of a proactive initiative to engage with commuters, address service deficiencies, and gather valuable feedback for improving public bus transportation in the city.

Designed to prioritize the needs and opinions of passengers, ‘Pravasi Din’ is scheduled to take place from 3 pm to 5 pm across all bus depots in Pune. The PMPML encourages active participation from citizens to contribute their insights and suggestions to enhance the overall public transport experience.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the official PMPML handle announced, “Under the visionary leadership of PMPML’s Hon. Chairman and Managing Director, ‘Pravasi Din’ will be celebrated on the second and fourth Friday of every month to eliminate errors in the bus service and to get valuable inputs from the passengers.”

“Also, the ‘Pravasi Din’ for December 2023 will be celebrated on 22nd December from 3 pm to 5 pm at each depot. PMPML encourages all citizens to actively participate in this initiative,” it added.

In related news, parts of Pune will experience water cuts on Thursday due to planned maintenance at key water treatment plants, as announced by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). Areas including Khadki Cantonment, Pashan, Aundh, Kothrud, and more will be affected, with water supply resuming at low pressure on Friday.
