In a significant move towards enhancing the living conditions in Mohammed Wadi, Pune, former corporator and Shiv Sena Pune city chief, Pramod Bhangire, laid the foundation for development works amounting to Rs 10 crores. The projects target critical issues faced by residents, including traffic congestion, insufficient water supply, and the lack of essential infrastructure.
The ceremony marked the commencement of vital projects, such as the construction of footpaths, road dividers, and road widening from Elina Living to Raheja Premier chowk. Bhangire stressed the significance of bypass roads in easing congestion and highlighted the activation of overhead water tanks to address water supply challenges. The NIBM Anandvan Parisar Residents Association (NAPRA) expressed gratitude to Pramod Bhangire for his extensive efforts, which include the implementation of a CCTV system, tree plantation, speed breakers, and enhanced police patrolling in the area.
The event witnessed the presence of Anandvan Foundation members, local residents, and representatives from various societies, emphasizing the community’s collaborative spirit. Residents suggested additional initiatives, such as the development of a garden near Gemini Park, Ganga Florentina, and Raheja Vista Phase 3 societies.
With these transformative initiatives underway, Mohammed Wadi is set for a positive metamorphosis, anticipating organized infrastructure and improved traffic management in the near future.
