Pune, August 17, 2023: In a collaborative effort between Garware Technical Fibre Ltd and DRDO, the Garware Circle at DRDO-Pashan has received a stunning makeover. The rejuvenated circle showcases new designs, vibrant plantations, enhanced lighting, and an emphasis on promoting awareness about traffic rules. The recently inaugurated revamped circle welcomed dignitaries and officials from both Garware Technical Fibre Ltd and DRDO, marking a significant step towards beautifying the locality.
The inauguration event was graced by esteemed personalities, including Col. Jyoti Kumar, Estate Manager EMU at DRDO, Mrs. Ankur Narania (wife of Col. Jyoti Kumar), Mrs. Mayuri Garware, Director of Garware Technical Fibre Ltd, Ravendra Mishra, President HR, Abhay Bartake, General Manager Administration, alongside officials and staff members from both DRDO and Garware Technical Fibre Ltd.
For more than three decades, Garware Technical Fibre Ltd has been steadfastly maintaining the Garware Circle, and this recent transformation is a testament to their commitment to enhancing the city’s aesthetic appeal. The circle was reconfigured a few years ago to accommodate the increasing traffic on the road. The refreshed design features an intricately crafted steel structure shaped like a rope, adding a touch of elegance to the circle’s surroundings.
