Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, a renowned name in the world of lubricants, proudly introduced the “Chai-Pakoda” Ride in Pune, a beloved tradition within India Bike Week, Asia’s premier motorcycling festival. The 10th edition of India Bike Week was kicked off with a heart-pounding start as the Chai Pakoda rides, a symbol of motorcycling adventure, camaraderie, and culture, took enthusiasts on an exhilarating journey. With Gulf’s involvement this year, the event promised to be a remarkable experience for riders and fans alike.
The Pune Chai-Pakoda breakfast ride attracted an impressive crowd of 1000 enthusiastic bikers from various regions. Riders from diverse backgrounds and a wide range of motorcycles, from thunderous Harleys to nimble KTMs and Yamahas, gathered at Crank It Café in Bavdhan Pune. From there, they embarked on an exciting 54-kilometer journey to Sheetal Da Dhaba, Old Mumbai-Pune Highway, Maval, Lonavala.
Safety was a top priority throughout the event. It all began with a mandatory ‘safety riding’ session for all registered bikers before hitting the open road. The ride was also overseen by IBW Marshals, each leading a group of riders, ensuring a synchronized and secure journey for all participants. Helmets and proper footwear were mandatory for all riders, and Gulf provided fluorescent safety jackets to enhance visibility. Additionally, an ambulance was on standby during the ride, ensuring immediate medical support if needed. At the final destination, participants engaged in thrilling activities, including a push-up and burpee challenge, adding an extra layer of excitement to this memorable ride.
